Most of our Accountancy Services are free or discounted for groups in Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham. We have dedicated funding provided by these Boroughs.
CASH advises small charities and community groups to use a payroll service rather than undertake payroll themselves.

We can undertake your bookkeeping and have experience of groups with turnovers up to £2 million. We can also produce the management accounts for your trustees and attend trustee meetings to explain them.
Prices range from £30 per hour for bookkeeping to £60 per hour for management accounts.
Full cost recovery
We produce full costs recovery models for charities and social enterprises. A simple model for a funding application can be produced in a couple of hours for small organisations. We charge £60 an hour.
We can integrate your accounting system if it’s in Excel, QuickBooks or Sage to produce reports that follow full cost recovery principles and track costs to different projects. This gives your trustees or boards a better understanding of how resources are being used and what returns are being achieved by them. It also makes it easier to track spending to restricted funds. This is a fairly complex piece of work for us, but you get simple understandable reports. For a charity with five projects, a turnover of £300,000 per annum and using QuickBooks we estimate three days work at a cost of £1,260.
Unit costs and pricing
Full cost recovery and unit costs are very closely related. We produce full cost recovery models for charities and social enterprises. This will tell you the unit costs of different services you provide. Various pricing models exist which we can discuss with you. Knowing your unit costs makes bid writing easier and more accurate. The more you know about your costs the less risk is associated with winning a bid.
Price £420 per day.
The amount of work is related to the size of the organisation, the number of projects and funding streams it has, the software it uses, and the state of its current bookkeeping. For small organisations with turnovers of up to £60,000, we can often do the work in three hours.
Complexity grows quickly with increased size. An organisation with a turnover of £300,00 might require three days work at a cost £1,260.
We can install QuickBooks and Sage and tailor them to produce management accounts and data for funder returns based on full cost recovery.
Depending on the complexity this can take a day to five days. £65 per hour. We can train your staff to run the systems and offer telephone support.
Financial health check
We can undertake a financial health check on your organisation, either looking across the range of your procedures or focusing on the payroll.
Prices range from £200 to £500 depending on the size of your group.

We can help you register a range of charity structures, including helping to produce the right governing document. These include:
Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO) for £700.
Unincorporated charities cost £200.
Registering a Community Interest Companies (CIC) costs £450.
We can also register a range of other legal structures including Community Benefit Organisations.
We can carry out your Independent examination from £300.
Corporation tax return
CASH can help you complete your group’s corporation tax return from £100.
You can hire our tutors to deliver our standard courses for £500 a day. Included in the price are electronic handouts on a memory sticks for up to ten learners or we email the handouts to them during the course.

Finance for trustees
Training during your trustees’ meetings can be arranged.
This includes the role of trustees, understanding budgets and finance reports, understanding your annual accounts, full cost recovery and pricing and the financial implications of contracts, plus more.
